Terms of Service
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Agreement
By using Node Proxy, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update these terms — continued use after changes means you accept them.
What we provide
Node Proxy provides edge proxy infrastructure, encrypted tunneling, email routing, an AI copilot, a private hosted inference API, and related services that let you run applications on your own hardware and make them reachable from the internet. Features and availability may change as we develop the platform.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and the activity on your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
Your hardware and data
You own your hardware and the data stored on it. Node Proxy does not claim ownership of any content that passes through or is routed by our service. You are responsible for the content and services you run on your devices.
AI copilot and inference API
The Node Proxy copilot and hosted inference API are powered by the open-source Qwen 3.6 35B A3B model, served from compute we operate on Microsoft Azure.
- AI outputs are generated by a probabilistic model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or other decisions that require professional judgment.
- When the copilot proposes actions — such as sending an email or changing configuration — you are responsible for reviewing and approving them before they execute.
- When you explicitly ask a registered-device copilot surface to read or analyze message content, your device may forward the visible email body and related mail metadata to the hosted model so it can answer that request.
- We do not log prompt bodies, email bodies, attachment contents, or tool-result bodies from copilot or hosted inference requests; we retain only operational metadata needed for billing, abuse prevention, and debugging.
- The underlying hosted model is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. You may not use the inference API to generate illegal, harmful, or deceptive content.
- You may not resell, proxy, or redistribute access to the inference API, or use its outputs to train a competing model.
Data and model training
We collect anonymized, aggregate interaction data (such as API call patterns, email classification metadata, and service health metrics) to operate and improve Node Proxy. This may include using such data to train or fine-tune machine learning models.
We do not use the content of your emails, photos, files, or other personal data for model training without your explicit opt-in consent. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected and how it is used.
Anonymized, aggregate data derived from your use of the service may be retained and used even after account deletion, as it is no longer personally identifiable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Node Proxy to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
- Distribute malware or conduct phishing
- Violate any applicable laws
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or other users
- Circumvent usage limits or billing
- Abuse the inference API — including bulk scraping, automated probing, denial-of-service, or prompt-injection attacks against Node Proxy infrastructure
- Resell, proxy, or redistribute access to the inference API
You are responsible for complying with all applicable email regulations — including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR — for any email sent through the service.
Accounts generating spam complaints or exhibiting abusive email patterns may be suspended immediately without prior notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Billing and payments
Free accounts are free. Paid plans are billed monthly. Usage-based charges are calculated based on your actual usage during the billing period, including per-token billing for hosted inference API usage. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Payments are processed by Stripe. You are responsible for providing valid payment information and paying applicable fees.
Service availability
We aim to keep Node Proxy available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.
Limitation of liability
Node Proxy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or unauthorized access to your devices.
Termination
You can stop using Node Proxy at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your data remains on your hardware — we don't hold it hostage.
