Usage-Based Scaling (Pro option)
Pro subscribers can enable metered overages from the billing dashboard. Without usage-based scaling enabled, included limits are hard caps. Enabling requires a payment method, explicit terms acceptance, and a user-chosen monthly overage cap; when that cap is reached, usage-based scaling pauses until the cap is raised or the next billing cycle starts.

Personal (Free): 1 Mac Mini, 1 email address, Immich photos → $0/mo.
Power user (Pro): 3 devices, 3 managed emails, 1 vanity address → $12 + $2 = $14/mo.
Small team (Pro + BYOD): 5 devices, bring-your-own domain for email + website, 5 BYOD addresses → $12 + $5 + (5 × $2) = $27/mo.
High-scale deployment (Pro + usage-based scaling): 200 devices, 50 managed addresses, 10 custom-domain addresses on 2 domains, 150,000 outbound emails/mo → **$256/mo**.
Philosophy
- Two plans, not three. Free to try, Pro for everything else. Usage-based scaling is opt-in with a monthly overage cap.
- Node Proxy copilot usage is bundled, not metered by Node Proxy. The copilot stays included at every tier.
- NVIDIA NIM is the default model provider. Paste your NVIDIA API key in the local control plane; provider-side usage follows NVIDIA's own terms and limits.
- Hosted Node Proxy open-source model is coming. It is not the default path and is not currently priced as a public inference API.
- Custom domains bundle email + website. One fee covers both — no double-charging.
- Pro is the sweet spot. $12/mo for serious personal use with predictable cost.
